Description: We invited our pal Derek Gallanosa of Moksa Brewing into the brewhouse to help make this incredibly decadent liquid henceforth known as Velvet Nougat. Our collaborative minds assembled an assortment of our favorite Chocolate and Crystal Malts set upon a base of malted oats and Maris Otter, then we boiled the holy heck out resulting glorious viscosity. While most of this batch was racked into top shelf bourbon barrels, we conditioned the remainder on a heap of toasted almonds and half a pound per barrel of very special Mexican vanilla beans resulting in heavenly marshmallows and thick almond butter covered in rich velvety chocolate.
