Description: Given our love for both coffee and hops, it was only a matter of time before we decided to combine the two. Coffee Bits is the love child born from that combination, a New England-style IPA brewed with 4 lbs of Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe hops per barrel and 2 lbs of light roasted Kenyan peaberry coffee per barrel, custom roasted for us by our friends at Zoe’s Cafe in Downtown Greeley. Sourced from small family farms in central Kenya, the coffee grows in volcanic loam soil alongside citrus fruits, bananas, macadamia trees and tobacco, and was selected and roasted specifically for its sweet pineapple, tangerine, and mango character to complement similar characteristics expressed by the base beer.
