Description: All the beers in our Achromatic series start with the same base beer, brewed with an obscene amount of chocolate malts (over 150 lbs), oatmeal and crystal malts to lend a sweet, caramel malt backbone and smooth, creamy mouthfeel. We add a moderate dose of hops to help balance the malt sweetness and we ferment with a clean, attenuative yeast strain to keep the focus on the malts and special ingredients. For Coconut Achromatic, we added over 6 lbs of organic raw coconut and coconut milk which add a tantalizingly fresh coconut flavor and aroma to the rich dark chocolate character of the stout. Put more simply, it’s a Mounds bar in a glass!
