Description: To create Cherry Truffle Medianoche, we blended our Cherries Jubilee Medianoche, which was aged in a freshly emptied brandy barrel for 12 months, then aged on whole cherries and Madagascar vanilla beans, with a single barrel batch of Medianoche aged in an Old Elk Distillery bourbon barrel for 14 months. To complement the cocoa powder and fudge character contributed by the Old Elk barrel, we added milk chocolate and cacao nibs to the final blend. The result is a rich, decadent Medianoche variant reminiscent of chocolate covered cherries. Available exclusively on draft in our taproom.
