Description: The “Hippie Trail” is a name based on the overland journey taken by members of the hippie subculture from the mid-1960s to the late 1970s between Europe and South Asia. The hippies celebrated diversity and local culture by spending more time interacting with the local population than traditional sightseeing tourists. Today, Hippie Trail toasts the eclectic mix of artists, musicians, farmers, brewers and freethinking cultural diversity that connect Dayton and Yellow Springs. To help spread the peace, love and beer, Yellow Springs and Warped Wing breweries have collaborated to create a celebratory beer. Hippie Trail India Pale Lager. Your journey begins with an earthy golden hue and snow white head. The aroma is soft with alternating bright herbal and mellow floral notes. Distinct yet subtle white grape / gooseberry notes from the Nelson Sauvin hops. The body is light and crisp with subtle suggestions of clean pilsner malt. And ends with a moderately firm but mellow bitterness that leads you to a dry finish.
