Description: Pale orange with copper highlights with citrus and fruity aromas and flavors from the 468 hops. The hop flavor has a slight spicy twist in the back of the palate. Finishes very bitter. The malt character is bready/nutty to start. Finishes dry. The base beer is our Self Starter Session IPA and we swap out the traditional Amarillo for the experimental hop so that it can be sampled side by side in order to determine the flavor and aromatic quality of the experimental hop. 468 is the designation from the hop breeder for the variety of experimental hop until it becomes either commercially accepted or the decision to discard the variety is made.
