Description: Far far far to the north lies a country where wildlings live. It is a country where the women eat snuff tobacco like we would eat popcorn and the men has long greasy hair and tight tight pants. Really tight pants. It is the country where the national dish is old fermented fish and hot dogs with mashed potatoes and shrimp salad. The country that is the mother of Death Metal and bad pop music at the same time. The Country we are talking about is of course Sweden. In this country lies a small town called Malmö who is famous for two things – 1) everybody in Malmö is sad that they are not danish – actually so sad that they every year tries to dig out the region where Malmö is placed to gain independency from Sweden and become a danish republic instead (every year they fail). 2) Zlatan Ibrahimovic In this little town lies a small bar called “På Besök” (swedish for “Visiting”). This bar is owned by true beer fanatics. Actually we would go as far as calling them true geeks when it comes to beer, and if there is one thing we love in To Øl, then it is GEEKS! Actually this place is so geeky, that when we asked them what their number one wish in the whole world was, they didn’t reply a brand new ferrari, or being able to fly or peace in the world, that many other would wish for. They only said “To have our own house pilsner brewed”. Since we the one thing we love more at To Øl than geeks is geek wishes, we decided to do our best to grand them their wish. So together with På Besök we put together a recipe for the most mind blowing pilsner we could imagine. The name of the beer was Amnecia. Some think it derives from the mind set you get when you drink it – other think it is because we smashed it with Am(arillo), Ne(lson) and Ci(tr)a hops. The true answer is that we forgot… Now for the first time this beer is presented outside of Sweden – well actually first time outside of På Besök. This will happen friday 5th oct. where another geeky bar – Mikkeller Bar – has been given two kegs of the potent liquid. So if you are a geek like På Besök, Mikkeller Bar and we are and you are in Copenhagen or Malmö we think you should drop by and get hit by AmNeCia!
