Description: Eva Cöttbusser is an old German style that is represented by no breweries in Germany that we know of, and only one in North America. It is no longer brewed in Germany because it is outlawed. It is illegal to put anything but malt, hops, yeast and water in the manufacturing of beer in Germany. The hops, complex Belgian Saison yeast flavors reacting with local honey, oats and pilsner malts and the high alcohol make this a complex brew. Starts sweet, although it is actually quite dry considering its final gravity.
