Description: We hosted Michelle’s Mighty Mission, an all-you-can-eat Low Country Boil community dinner and a stout homebrewing contest, benefiting Joe’s sister Michelle and the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation. The event’s homebrewing contest winner, Bill Bohanon, brewed his winning recipe on Sugar Creek’s full scale production equipment with our team of beer engineers. The winning beer, Sweet Milk Chocolate Stout, was brewed with organic coca nibs, milk sugar and Belgian chocolate malts. This combination yields a full flavored stout which pours silky black, produces a frothy head and delivers flavor notes of a French roasted coffee rich with cream and a bittersweet chocolate finish.
