Description: Brewed for Philly! Philly 215 2017 is a Cold Press Coffee IPA featuring coffee from Philly’s own Peddler Coffee. We’re quite excited about this one we’ve brewed for you, Philly. The appearance is a deep golden honey color. The nose is dominated by aromas of robust coffee & sweet caramel-toffee maltiness. The taste is also dominated by bold coffee flavor & sweet caramel malts, and the body is on the heavier side for an IPA which helps round out all the competing flavors. Hop flavors of citrus & pine are present, but mostly play a supporting roll to the coffee & malt. Hops coalesce with roasted coffee to create a unique IPA bitterness which is smoothed out a little by a sweet malt flavor. The finish leaves a roasty coffee taste.
