Description: Imperial IPA w/ cold-brewed Inmaculada Colombia Coffee Eugenioides (12:1, 9.2% ABV) Chocolate-covered malt balls, candied ginger mid-palate, chicory finish. Notes : Eugenioides is the ancient coffee that gave birth to Arabica. It's off-target for what we usually look for as a blending component in this kind of beer, utterly lacking acidity or bright fruit flavors. However, the cereal-milk sweetness surprised us and finds a welcome home as a mellowing component that totally alters the structure and balance of the beer
