Description: Pen Pals is a double IPA, brewed in collaboration with our Cali friends who you may have heard of - Modern Times. We've both made plenty of DIPAs before so we switched things up with this recipe to utilise both malt and yeast that neither brewery had used in this style before. When you combine that with a heavy dry-hop of the freshest Yakima Chiefs 2020 crop hops, the result speaks for itself. Extreme aromas of overripe mango, passionfruit and melon. Put this thing inside your mouth and you will be teleported to another planet where juicy, tropical and lush fruits are all that matters. Dry-hopped with Azacca Cryo, Citra, Motueka and Centennial, this is in another stratosphere of hop extremeness, but in the most enjoyable of ways.
