Description: A big and bold dark ale, brewed with four types of grain, aged in selected barrels, and carefully blended to perfection. Taste: Full bodied from the beginning, this very quickly slides across the tongue, lacing it with more of the same, followed by coffee, blackcurrant, assertive black bread, and a creamy sweetness from the lactose. Enjoy for breakfast served with your finest cigar. Appearance: Dark black with a clean beige head. Nose: Cereal and raspberry jam, slightly burnt toast and hazelnuts, maple syrup and vanilla. Breathing in more - raisin notes and hints of bourbon, cloves and winter spices.
