Description: This batch of Amalgamation was made using a blend of Black Currants, Red Currants, Blackberries, Cherries and Blueberries. Opening with a sharper acidity that is the unmistakable punchy flavor of currants, this mead continues to adjust with each subsequent sip. Once the palate acclimates, the deep and sweet flavors of blackberry and cherry become more pronounced, with tannin from the blueberries lingering in the tail. Orange Blossom honey can be felt throughout the long finish. With rich flavors and a big body, we expect that the plethora of fruits will continue to converge and harmonize nicely with extended aging.
