Description: Barleywine Style Ale made with a blend of Maris Otter and Irish Pale malt. Hopped with Galena hops to balance the sweetness. This winter brew is a red color with a bold, malt character. Brewed in June and aged for six months to smooth the alcohol. Ardelle Johnson (Brewer, Chris Johnson's grandmother) was a huge fan of the Christmas season. We brew different holiday beer each year named "Ardelle" and release it on December 1st, her birthday.
