Description: Our very first mixed culture beer, this single barrel offering was fermented exclusively with our house Dominican blend. A collaboration with our friends @nkendallwine & @pascalinelepeltier of Chëpika wines, this beer was laid to rest for 11 months in French Oak barrels that previously held their 2018 Catawba wine. After primary fermentation it was conditioned for a further three months on 2019 Catawba lees. Reminiscent of a sparkling rose, this beer is bone-dry and effervescent with a balanced acidity. It presents notes of ruby red grapefruit, golden raspberry, and mandarin orange with subtle hints of candied apricot.
