Description: A classic English pale ale is a golden, copper colored beer with flavor and aroma of traditional English hop varieties such as Fuggles and East Kent Goldings. Characteristic features are a well-defined hop flavor, with a slightly caramelized malt background, a little more malt sweetness than what is typically found in American pale ales. This beer is great to enjoy with all kinds of meat such as beef, lamb or burgers. In England, “pale ale” better known as Bitter or Mild. This pale ale is dry hopped with Fuggles which gives a mild grass and spicy aroma and is best served cool by 5-7 degrees Celsius, (41-44°F). When the beer is slowly heated up in the glass, the aroma from the dry hopped Fuggles is more intensified and gives a perfect scent of aromatic hops. Hermod is the son of Odin and Frigg and thus Balder’s brother. He is only mentioned in the story of Balder’s death. He is the messenger of the gods and takes on the task to ride to the underworld to persuade the god Hel, to let Balder return to the living.
