Description: When I was a kid I could never Pop-A-Wheelie on my bike. I'd watch the older kids with their glorious mullets and super cool Iron Maiden t-shirts ride their Mongoose BMX's on one wheel for yards at a time. Meanwhile, I'd be off in a patch of gravel yanking up on the handlebars of my Dad's too-old too-big for me 10-speed, cranking on the pedals as hard as I could to lift my front wheel to magnificent new heights. At best, I'd get an inch or two off the ground and kick up a few rocks before propelling myself down the street in two-wheeled joy. The straw hue of this Wheat Ale reminds me of those country roads I spent so much time tooling around on. And the subtle citrus notes of this beautifully reminiscent beer from the orange and lemon rinds added in the boil are akin to my small, but controlled, bicycle mastery.
