Description: Maplewood Johnson is the least known, famous American hero. It's said that right up to the day he died in 2013, he would drink a quart of Grade B Maple Syrup with every meal. This, along with his unprecedented talent for firewood cutting and arranging, earned him the pseudonym "Maplewood." His rise to fame was swift and fleeting after his win at the 1976 Inaugural Fireplace Games. He was the first fire stacker who made a log-cabin with a teepee. The fire burned hotter and longer than any other at the games. Shortly after his win, Maplewood went underground... until a sighting near Oxbow Park in 2011. The eyewitness described him as heavily bearded with an aroma of camp smoke and maple syrup. Police investigated the area and all they found was this beer recipe. Enjoy his light, but complex and decadent, autumnal brew. You're famous yet again, Mr. Johnson.
