Description: Nineteen hours of double mashing, over 4 hours boiling, parking lot sleeping and bourbon barrel aging; all for the love of the craft! The North Fork Brewery needs little introduction. Known as a place of pilgrimage, being devoted to beer for over 20 years, it is befitting of a shrine. Together we brewed a beer with more Golden Promise and Maris Otter malt than we deserved to mash all day! An over 4-hour boil saw some East Kent Goldings hops, just for good measure. Then, fermented with a blend of English ale strains and aged for over 12 months in fresh and spent Heaven Hills bourbon barrels. This beer is rich, bright and just barely balanced!
