Description: Swell Day Saison is fermented with our house blend of yeast & bacteria. It was then ages for months to allow for flavor development. It is faintly tart & dry hopped with a light hand. It is complex but very refreshing. It was named after my great grandmother, Ellen, who kept over 40 years of diaries. She noted many "swell days" while living & working on their farm in the Loess Hills near Soldier, Iowa. This beer is a member of the Loess Hills Farmhouse Series.
