Description: Prickly Pear fruit comes from the Prickly Pear cactus of the southwest with a unique flavor resembling a blend of strawberry and watermelon. This Prickly Pear Watermelon Mead is made from 100% honey and hand-sorted fruit fermented on premium aged oak that’s been roasted to perfection. Our watermelon was selected at its peak ripeness by a local farmer. Martin Brothers Winery takes great efforts to use only the highest quality selected honey; only the freshest hand-sorted fruits and the gentlest winemaking techniques possible.
