Description: Born from the darkness of the barrel, My Old Friend is rich, robust and wonderful! For this offering, we blended a half batch of Imperial Stout aged in Bourbon barrels with a half batch of even more full-bodied Imperial Stout straight from the fermenter. Layers of bourbon soaked oak, vanilla, roasted coffee and chocolate bluster through both the flavor profile and aromatics. Best poured in a snifter, brought to room temperature and contemplated among friends.
