Description: It's a piece of cake to bake a pretty cake, so they say. While we sure weren't lazy with this one, we did use quite the messy recipe. We are celebrating Little House's First Birthday, after all, so as much as we love doing the cookin' by the book, we tried to make it turn out crazy (sorry Stephanie)! What exactly did we brew to celebrate one year of slinging beer in a little, old house, you ask? To start, we threw 16 hand-baked chocolate cakes into the mash along with graham crackers, birthday cake oreos, rainbow sprinkles, and plenty of locally roasted chocolate malts from Rooster Malt Co. Then we conditioned this beastly Imperial Cake Stout on pounds of Ancho Chillies, Cacao Nibs, and whole Bourbon Vanilla Beans. The result is a dangerously drinkable celebration desert beer, fit best for enjoying at birthday parties and/or watching your favorite episode of Lazy Town!
