Description: Belgian Blonde Ale brewed to this year’s Pink Boots Big Brew theme of historical ales. Made with all Addison County Materials, hence the Roots part of the name. Brewed with Peterson Quality Malt (Monkton, VT) pale, wheat, amber and crystal malts, Homestead Hops (Starksboro, VT) chinook and nugget hops, Lemmon Fair Honeyworks (Cornwall, VT) honey, and Ripton mountain spring water. A little darker than a modern blonde, this is a malty beer that has a drier honey finish, somewhat balanced by the hops. A portion of the proceeds from this brew will be donated to local and national scholarships for women in brewing.
