Description: Tradition dictates, in Alpine countries, two beings visit you during Christmas time. One is, of course, jolly St. Nick, who gives toys and gifts to all the good and well deserving children. The other is the Krampus, whom our lovely beer is named after. He is a demon looking creature with thick black hair, long pointy horns, and a long forked tongue. His job, during the Christmas season, is to take and punish the bad children. We decided to go against the grain when it comes to Christmas beers. Instead of having a beer which reminds you of a whimsical hallmark card, we made a deep, dark, complex beer. Weighing in at 9.0% ABV and spiced with traditional Christmas spices like cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg, this black stout is a reward for all those who were just the right amount of wrong this year.
