From Germany, newer varieties Hallertau Blanc and Mandarina Bavaria, with their tropical fruit and tangerine notes, are paired with two traditional hops (Perle and Tettnang) which provide a herbal and slightly spicy character. Aramis, from the Alsace region in France, is used as a dry-hop addition to bring further herbal, citrus and spicy notes to the aroma.
