Description: Pussy Pilot Parade is brewed at our little farmhouse brewery. It’s a BRIPA with a slightly dry, yet robust, malty body and a nice, citrusy finish. What’s a BRIPA? Stands for Black Rye India Pale Ale (aka Black Rye IPA). Black Rye IPAs are made with darker malts and, of course, a hefty dose of rye. We feel the rye adds the perfect touch to the overall flavor profile. Since this is an IPA, we also like to use a lot of hops. This brew is close to 50 IBUs and is finished with Columbus. But it doesn’t stop there, we use even more Columbus to dry hop this parade of flavor to compliment this beer nicely with a light citrus note, without overwhelming! Is this more of an American or English style of IPA, you might ask? We feel this is an East Coast IPA - lots of British roots, but with American guts! So what’s with the name? Hey, we proudly support our Troops & Veterans and thought a bunch of pussycat pilots flying their fighter jets in a parade formation would be fun and worth enjoying a beer over!
