Description: Beer styles are not always cut and dry in their definition. The Quadruple is one of those styles; loosely defined and open to more than one interpretation. Generally speaking Quads are dark spicy Belgian ales that show their strength. Our interpretation does not disappoint. Sugar added to the kettle augments an already large malt bill consisting of eight different malts. Subtle hop additions of Nugget and Czech Saaz hops contribute bitterness and a hint of spiciness that complements the alreadyspicy yeast. It all finishes off with a noticeable presence of alcohol that marries well with the spicy notes and equates into a complex brew closer in strength to wine than beer.This mahogany colored brew evokes flavors of brown sugar, apple pie, banana bread, and figs.
