Description: Saison is also known as a farmhouse ale brewed in the southern region of Belgium known as Wallonia, the predominately French-speaking region of Belgium. It was typically brewed during winter for the farm workers to consume during the warm summer months. Our Black Saison begins with a fruity, citrus aroma created with a French Saison yeast and Lemondrop hops. Mild bready and even soft chocolate notes are produced with our blend of several malted barleys and Midnight wheat. Our newest addition to the Single Tank Series is dark in color, light-bodied, and refreshing. 7.5% alcohol by volume and 16 IBUs. An excellent way to celebrate the end of summer. A Votre Sante!
