Description: Worms Within the Lion's Body is an unblended dark beer fermented and aged in oak on cherries. THE 2020 batch was created from a single wort brewed in Fall 2019 from barley, wheat, and roasted grains. It was kettle hopped and dry hopped entirely with whole flowers and fermented in a variety of characterful barrels on organic Montmorency and Balaton cherries from the 2019 harvest grown by Michael Simon in Okanogan, Washington. This beer was refermented to condition with raw Washington Honey to allow for opening at warm cellar temperatures.
