Description: One of our barrel base beers, Powerstave is a high octane Imperial Stout with an ABV to match. Loaded with oats, it has a mellowed roast character alongside complex malt and toffee flavors that coat the palate with its mild sweetness and well-executed balance. While time in the barrel adds intense amounts of character and charm, Powerstave is one of those base beers that really doesn’t need the wood to be good, and we’re finding we’re beyond stoked to be drinking it all on its lonesome.
