Description: Citraweisse is a beer close to our hearts here at Fieldwork; marrying our passions of IPA's, Sours, and Saisons. Starting life as a traditional Berlinerweisse, things begin to change en route to the fermenter as it takes a detour to soak on some Citra hops during its whirlpool rest, then on to the tank where we ferment it with our house Saison yeast and dry hop with copious more amounts of Citra in the dry hop. The end result is an aggressively tart Berliner weisse style beer with massive aromas of orange juice, pineapple, and lemon, hay-like citrusy yeast esters, and an impeccably dry finish.
