Description: Dr. Seuss could have written a book thicker than War & Peace on places we like drinking IPA, but unfortunately on a lawn mower is not one of them. That’s mostly because it wouldn't have rhymed, but also because pounding IPAs while working in the sun sounds dangerous and downright exhausting. With that situation in mind, we took previous generation's favorite lawnmower beer and brewed our best possible replica, before turning it on its head via boxes upon boxes of Citra hops. This American Lager comes across light in body with a nice grainy pilsner like character. A light bitterness and restrained hop flavor balance out this Queen of beers until it is dry-hopped with those aforementioned Citra hops, and is saturated with pungent and long lasting notes of orange oil, mango sherbet, and ripe papaya. As temperatures raise this Lager only shines harder with aromas becoming more enticing and keeping this liquid homage from turning into another one of those half drank American flag draped cans sitting on your workbench. Taking inspiration and ingredients from other parts of the world, and using the best grains and hops that our amazing farmers grow, is our way of trying to make the most American beer we can; Casa de Citra Dry-Hopped Lager.
