Description: Ascender is our nod to the beauty and assertive character of Amarillo hops. We brewed this IPA with a blank canvas of a grain bill consisting only of our 2-row base malt from Idaho, then added in plenty of Amarillo hops to develop a huge ruby red grapefruit character followed by more subtle notes of papaya and citron. Layering other hops from the same region of the Pacific North West provides a strong dank and resinous undertone on the finish. Bone dry and light in body, makes this intensely juicy and tropical IPA wash off the palate quickly with a nice lingering hop resin profile that leaves you wanting to crush another pint.
