Description: Our collaboration with Hobart Brewing Company, we wanted to make a traditional French Saison. True to the Saison ideals we fermented this stronger golden ale warm with a yeast that gives off lots of delicious fruity and spicy flavours but topped it off with bright and citrusy New Zealand hops to complement the fruit character. The beer was then finished in barrels to give a kiss of oak before being cold-matured in kegs. A complex but intriguing interpretation of this age-old style.
