Description: When Chipotle Restaurants approached ourselves and our friends at Boulevard Brewing in Kansas City, MO and Arizona Wilderness in Gilbert, AZ to brew a beer especially for their Cultivate Food, Ideas and Music Festival, we put our heads together over a few burritos and developed a unique beer that's at once traditional and challenging. Brewed at each brewery once, this beer nods firmly to the malt-forward yet crisp lagers found in Mexico but is accentuated with aromatic Citra and Lemon Drop hops. The final touch was the addition of annetto seeds from the achiote tree, adding a subtle but assertive spice-derived heat and a slight nutmeg flavor. This culinary-inspired creation will only be available at Chipotle's Cultivate Festival and Cigar City's Tasting Room. Salud!
