Description: The Cultivator readies the soil for new beginnings. Tilled land becomes the incubator of Asheville’s bold new hop harvest. Asheville fresh hops impart a tea-like spice that is resoundingly earthy – and that deserves an equally creative beer backbone. We added local Riverbend 6 row pale, Chocolate Wheat, and a healthy dose of malted rye to craft a rich black ale without the bitterness of your typical darker beer. We added fresh Cascade, Chinook and Nugget hops from Ob Joyful Farms’ morning harvest. A profoundly sharp and resinous quality is found within the subtle dark chocolate flavor of this Black IPA.
