Description: Imperial Stout with Toasted Hazelnuts, Madagascar Vanilla Bean, and Flamed Orange Peel It’s simply that which we do not understand That which sinks us among a vast sea of agony. Not without doubts. Never without intrigue. The lust inside the human rage. A story of uncertainty with our friends at TRVE Brewing. This stout was born of manipulation, and convicted from a state of surprise. A little delightful narrative where ever Zach believed Imperial Stout could be divine. This strong ale was blended from 3 different Imperial Stout bases, and then aged to relate to Zach’s culinary influence. As a baked pastry fan, he suggested a type of hazelnut cream puff, and we obliged. So the beer was aged upon loads of house-toasted hazelnuts, freshly-scraped Madagascar vanilla beans and some fresh-zested and torched orange peel. The result is a custard-filled donut, Nutella spread over sweet orange bread, and, of course, a hazelnut crème-stuffed vanilla cream puff.
