Description: We've always been extremely excited about lagers and the arrival of our foeders amplified this excitement into a fun way to use the foeder without the beer ever touching oak. We swelled the foeders with water and used that water (after an aging period) to brew this pilsner with our friends Birds Fly South (we miss you isaac) from south carolina. An addition of simcoe in the whirlpool adds a pleasant bitterness coupled with a hint of citrus that pairs perfectly with the oak and vanilla characters from the water. As always, we naturally carbonated this and allowed it to lager for an extensive amount of time to get real crisp and clean.
