Description: Some of the most unique and flavourful ales are brewed by the Trappist monks which is a religious order within the Roman Catholic church. Unfortunately the Catholic church not only excels in beer brewing but also in covering up for child molesters year after year, which inspired the label for this beer. Malus Pater is inspired by the strongest of Trappist ales: the quadrupel, but with its own character from an extra dash of roasted malt making the beer slightly darker and a bit more bitter.
