Description: Windfall(noun) a) fruit blown down from a tree by the wind b) a piece of unexpected good fortune In the winter of 2015 our little island was struck by a windstorm, which knocked out our chiller while a batch of IPA was fermenting. We couldn't release it as the original beer, but it still tasted great, so we added Pink Grapefruit and figured we'd just put it on as a one-off in the taproom. But some escaped. People started asking for it. Now it's our best selling beer. Life's weird like that. Malt: NW Pale, Wheat, Special Aromatic, Light Crystal Hops: Azacca(TM), Nugget, Cascade, Crystal, Centennial Yeast: American Ale ---------- Cheers, Russell
