Description: Pillow Talk is an Aslin Barrel Select stout named after the chocolate mints left on the pillows of hospitality establishments. This stout was aged for 15 months in a Four Roses bourbon barrel that was used to age maple syrup before finding its way to Aslin. The beer was conditioned on Andes Mints, Tahitian Vanilla, and marshmallow before being bottled in July of 2021. This decadent stout develops like the conversation of two lovers as the temperature increases. Starting with the light sour sweetness of dried fruits and chocolate, the flavor evolves to a pillowy month feel cushioned by vanilla, toffee, and drissled with maple syrup. The finish leaves a feeling of mint on the tongue making you feel refreshed and ready for a second round.
