Description: 2015 Winter Collaboration The North winds blow through the mountains of Western North Carolina - and with them the spirit of collaboration drifts in like the crisp, crystal flakes that mark the beginning and the end of the Appalachian winter. Huddled together in the heart of Asheville, more than 30 area brewers collaborated to concoct a white twist on a traditional winter stout, including an infusion of locally-sourced ingredients. The Asheville Brewers Alliance proudly presents our inaugural winter collaboration: a Winter White Stout. Brewed with crisp, 50th anniversary Maris Otter malt and Riverbend Malt House's North Carolina-grown malted barley. Aged with Dynamite Roasting Company's locally roasted coffee beans, organic and fair trade cocoa nibs, and vanilla.
