Description: Without going into depth on, "What is a Black IPA?" we put together a recipe that we thoroughly enjoyed creating. Black IPA? Cascadian Dark Ale? WHATEVER. This is an Arizona beer, with juniper cones picked fresh from amazing Juniper Wilderness. These berries give a Gin-like aroma, and a pine tree taste. To make sure we created a super smooth dark hoppy ale, we cold steeped the dark Grains overnight before the brew day. This eliminated the overly roasted-cloying burnt flavors. Then we added of the pungent berries via "Juniper Tea" to seal in the essential pine oils. Polaris hops add that mint like aroma, which we feel comes off like thin mint cookies! Call it what you'd like, but this beer in all ARIZONA.
