Description: Brewed exclusively for SAVOR 2017, and now available in our tasting room. Our Russian Imperial Stout aged in Heaven Hills Barrels and then transferred to Catoctin Creek Maple Brandy Barrels. The base beer is brewed with Marshmallows for sweetness, and Seaweed for an "of the sea" salinity. Big, Boozy, but insanely drinkable. Add a few months of Whiskey Barrel Aging, and you have a real treat! In the darkest depths of the ocean slumbers the Great Old One, for whom this humanity and so-called life mean little. So transcendent is he, so free of the bondage of rules and regulations we so desperately adhere to for meaning, that we are drawn either toward his cult or his destruction.
