Description: Inspired by Irish red ales, American Amber Ales became signatures of the American craft beer movement. American Amber Ale is noteworthy for its relatively even balance between malt and hop expression. Our coppery-brown hued amber ale emphasizes the rich, malty character of the dark-roasted, crystal malt which we import from England. The crystal malt is also the contributor to the deep color. This ale is moderately hopped with hops from the Yakima Valley in Washington state and is fermented using a top-fermenting ale yeast strain.
