Description: Wooden Rooster is the first barrel-aged release from Tallgrass Brewing Co. We took our Velvet Rooster Belgian-style Tripel and aged it in Heaven Hill rye whiskey barrels, giving it an oaky vanilla finish. When the bird left the barrel, it was too big for the coop - so we put it in a 19.2 oz. can. Post up and rule the roost with this spicy smooth specialty. It'll make you crow.
