Description: A traditional Belgian style farmhouse ale fermented with three different saison yeast strains to add complexity and a mélange of spicy fruit forward esters. Our base saison is being released under the name Attica after the historical region of Ancient Greece that encompassed Athens. The name for this based traditional saison actually came from the name we have given our tart Brett saison – Akademos who in greek mythology was an attic hero and savior of Athens, and the namesake for Plato’s academy.
