Description: This 6.8% IPA showcases one of our very favorite trios of Pacific Northwest hops: Citra, Mosaic, and Amarillo. In Livewire, we add Mosaic during the boil, Citra Cryo in the whirlpool, and then a big mix of all three for the dry-hop. We’ve always found that Amarillo, with its distinctive notes of orange blossom and sweet citrus, draws out similarly orange citrus qualities from Citra. And then Mosaic does magical Mosaic things: tropical fruit, blueberry, pine, and bubblegum. As with the last batch, we brewed Livewire with pilsen malt and a hefty charge of malted oats and flaked wheat. The result is one lush, fluffy beverage.
